This is an archive of the Studer FTP server, containing all the files that were available on ftp://ftp.studer.ch/Public upto the mid 2000s. This archive has been lightly curated. Click here to view the list of the changes.

Please note that not all public documentation for all Studer or Revox products were uploaded to the FTP server by Studer. If you don't find what you need here, please search elsewhere, as other files and documents are available here and there on the internet.

If you have files and documents published by Studer or Revox that were not part of the original FTP server, please contact-us, we'd be interested to add them to this archive.

We extend our thanks to Philip van der Matten who has saved the Studer Public ftp server when it was still up and made it publicly available on his website, www.reeltoreel.nl, allowing us to get hold of all these precious files. We chose to make our own copy available for redundancy, and for a more convenient browsing experience.

Please note that we claim no affiliation to neither Studer nor Revox, which have since been sold seperately to different buyers. These are the sole proprietors of the Studer and Revox brands and trademarks.

About this website

This website is hosted by Infomaniak, a hosting service with servers in Switzerland. This company goes through a great deal of efforts and investment to minimize and offset it's carbon footprint. Be sure to check them out, as they also offer plenty of other services as an envirommentally-friendly alternative respectful of your privacy (email, cloud, shared documents, file sharing, etc).

The fonts used here are Inter, Barlow and Fira Code, all free and open source.

Like virtually all websites, some of your personnal data is automatically processed by our servers and collected in our server logs (IP addresses, browser user agent, and language and locale settings). This is necessary to serve this website to you and classifies as legitimate interest under E.U. GDPR regulation, as stipulated in article 6.1(f).

This personnal data is kept private and is neither shared nor sold to any third-party. Server logs are kept for a maximum duration of two months. We do keep usage statistics for indefinite periods of time but using only fully-anonymized information.
